ALBENDAZOLE AND PHENYTOIN

Phenytoin approximately halves the levels of albendazole. Fosphenytoin, a prodrug of phenytoin, may interact similarly.
For systemic infections it may be necessary to increase the albendazole dosage. Monitor the outcome of concurrent use. This interaction is of no importance in
the treatment of intestinal worm infections.
