BUPROPION AND TICLOPIDINE

Medical Diagnosis and Drugs, Medications
Ticlopidine increases the AUC of bupropion by about 80% and decreases the AUC of its active metabolite, hydroxybupropion, by about 80%.
Dose adjustments may be needed. It would seem prudent to monitor for increased bupropion adverse effects (lightheadedness, gastrointestinal effects) and efficacy.
