CICLOSPORIN (CYCLOSPORINE) AND METHOTREXATE
Previous or concurrent treatment with methotrexate may possibly increase the risk of liver and other toxicity, but effective and valuable concurrent use has also been reported. Ciclosporin causes a moderate rise in serum methotrexate levels.
Monitor the outcome of concurrent use carefully. The dose of either drug may need to be reduced and drug toxicity (renal and hepatic) may be more common.
