CORTICOSTEROIDS AND NSAIDS

Medical Diagnosis and Drugs, Medications
Corticosteroids may increase the incidence and/or severity of ulceration associated with NSAIDs, and increase the possibility of gastrointestinal bleeding.
Concurrent use need not be avoided, but be aware that the risks are increased. Consider the use of mucosal protectants such as H2-receptor antagonists or proton pump inhibitors.
