DIGOXIN AND QUININE
Some patients may show a rise of more than 60% in serum digoxin levels if they are given quinine.
Monitor the effects of concurrent use and reduce the digoxin dosage where necessary. Some patients may show a substantial increase in serum digoxin levels whereas others will show only a small or moderate rise. There appear to be no case reports of digoxin toxicity arising from this interaction.
