FLUTAMIDE AND WARFARIN AND OTHER ORAL ANTICOAGULANTS
Case reports suggest that in some patients flutamide may increase the effects of
warfarin. The interaction developed over 2 months in some cases but developed
within 4 days in another.
It may be prudent to initially check the INR of any patient taking an oral
anticoagulant within the first week of concurrent use.
